Projects and your domains

Group domains and orders per campaign, and see which sites already link to you.

Written by Matyas Dios ยท Updated

Projects and domains are optional, but they make the portal work harder for you. A project groups your domains and orders, for example one project per client or campaign. A domain you add lets the marketplace show which publishers already link to you.

Add a domain

  1. On the dashboard, find the Your domains card and click Add domain.
  2. Type the domain, for example example.com.
  3. Under project, keep No project or pick one of your projects.
  4. Click Add domain.

You can add up to 15 domains. A domain can belong to only one project at a time. If it is already in another project, remove it there first.

The portal loads Domain Rating, referring domains and organic traffic for the domain from Ahrefs. This can take a moment, and the card shows Collecting domain metrics until it is done. If you see no numbers, read My domain shows no data.

Create a project

  1. Open Projects in the top menu.
  2. Click New project, then enter a Project name. Project URL is optional.
  3. Click Create project.

A project page has three parts: Domains, Orders and Notes. Use Notes for anything you want to remember about the project. You can rename a project from its page. If you delete a project, its domains stay in Your domains and can be added to another project.

Select one of your domains on the dashboard, or a project. The marketplace then shows a switch with three choices:

  • All sites: every site, as usual.
  • New options: hides sites that already link to your domain or that you ordered before.
  • Linked / ordered (Previously ordered for a project): shows only those sites.

Sites that already link to you carry a Linked badge in the list.

Tip

Use New options when you want fresh publishers only, so you do not pay twice for the same site.

In the cart, each link has an optional project menu that starts on No project. Pick a project there and the order appears under Orders on that project's page.
